Frenchtown Park & Frye Nature Preserve

Sunday mornings are usually filled with getting ready and then heading to Church. But, since this past weekend was General Conference, a few of us brought our kids out for a little nature walk/hike before the sessions started at Noon. (I'm SO thrilled with all the fantastic places we've found in Rhode Island that we can explore! Why I didn't take advantage of it sooner, I don't know!)

Not sure what we'd find, we just set out on the trail. Here are a few pictures of the adventure...

The pictures I didn't put here will be in a different post - we found so many bright colored mushrooms! I was really surprised at how pretty they were!  More about trying to identify them too...that's quite an experience!

We had a lot of fun, and would definitely go back again! (This little park is located on Frenchtown Road in East Greenwich, RI. Click for Map.)
