First Day! Kinda sorta maybe...not really

Well here we are...the FIRST day of school! HOMESCHOOL at the Levett Learning Academy!

The day started with both Ric and I sleeping in. Yep, it's Labor Day, and both of us are OFF of work. I had tentatively hoped to get something started today, tentatively.

The kids (thankfully) let us sleep a little longer than usual...we finally awoke to the sounds of blaring nursery rhymes and Megan yelling, "Why can't I see the pictures?" *sigh*

As both of us were dragging ourselves out of bed, the kids somehow got themselves dressed. (Why is it that they just CAN'T get dressed when we want them to?) They ran outside before we had a chance to stop them and start our "school day" - Oh well, P.E. is first! Yippeee!

I'm rethinking this whole, let's start school tomorrow. Today is Labor Day - so let's put the kids to work! YAY! It's the perfect plan - and goes with the theme of Labor Day, right?

So right now, Ric is cracking whip as Willie-Poop is being scooped. Wood will be moved to the back yard as well. I MAY be able to get something organized, but the REAL stuff is starting tomorrow, I think.

So far so good, right?
